I could never describe myself
but let me give it a shot..
I'm a designer who likes nothing more than a regular supply of black coffee and being left in solitude while I design endlessly, often losing track of time and sleep alike. Digital design isn't something I arrived at, it's something I'd been circling for a long time. MS Paint as a kid, visual and graphic design on the side through college, eventually teaching myself to build websites on WordPress, long before any of it was a career plan.
But I pursued architecture first, several years of thinking in spaces, structures, and how people move through them, and graduated as an architect in 2019. It took me a while to realise the two weren't separate interests: the same instincts that shaped physical spaces were the ones I'd already been applying to digital ones, just without naming it.
I pivoted to designing digital products exclusively in 2022.
After a short stint on contract with Fractal Ink, I joined Netoyed in December 2022, where I've been one of the founding designers of UX4G ever since. What started as three of us is now a 20+ person team, with 10+ designers, building design infrastructure that other teams actually rely on.
Along the way I've worked on platforms collectively used by tens of millions of people. Spotting UI/UX issues stopped being the hard part a while ago. What holds my attention now is the layer underneath, the systems, flows, and decisions that decide whether a product actually works, not just whether it looks right.
Lately that also means figuring out where AI genuinely earns a place in the process, and where it's just noise.
Tool-agnostic by nature
But if I were to choose, these are the regulars currently.
To sum my outside-work-self
I watch a lot of sports, play tennis and have been a die-hard madridista since 2013
Digital fictional entertainment
I find certain genres of movies interesting, and listen to songs almost all day.
